Support with coping with the pandemic; financial, food, community support and more. The following groups can help you find the support you need.

Helpline available 7 days a week from 8.00am to 8.00pm - Telephone: 01302 430300 – anyone can ring this if they are or know of someone who is vulnerable and has no other support

Practical support such as urgent food supplies, shopping, hot food, collection of medication etc will be a priority

Online chat, signposting and connecting people to other groups and volunteers to provide advice on exercising at home, keeping connected or just for regular contact

Victims of domestic abuse will be able to access safe spaces at Boots pharmacies consultation rooms where they can contact specialist domestic abuse services for support and advice. The scheme is in response to the desperate situation facing many victims who are isolating with perpetrators during lockdown.

Doncaster Flood and Covid-19 Mutual Group Response Community Coordination - In terms of response, information and coordination here's some useful information. It's humbling and heartwarming to see the community coming together. Resources are stretched across Town and people want to know how to help.

The vicar and team at St. John the Evangelist Church in Balby will prepare food and essential items, free of charge, for anyone in need. If you cannot collect the items yourself they will try and make a delivery.

The Samaritans are available 24/7 free on 116123 for anyone experiencing suicidal thinking or distress

Safe Space, run by Doncaster PFG, are providing free telephone support to anyone in need. Their team of volunteers who each have lived experience of mental health issues are available at the numbers which appear when you click 'go there'
